talk less, say more

wow.. i haven't posted since last thursday! thats what my life is coming to. school is ridiculous! i have so many group projects due.. and i can't believe its almost october - october meaning midterms midterms and more midterms! well actually i love october - it is one of my favourite months.. thanksgiving! halloween! leaves on the ground and cooler weather! what is not to love? oh wait.. 

except that.. its not to love.

my friend even asked me a few days ago how i have friends (all i do is study, read, attend school and go to work).. lol the social life is hard to manage but i have a dog to keep me company now :) and sleep is over rated.

not that my life is supposed to be based around making this blog more interesting or anything.. but i wish i had something more interesting to say.. or maybe some pictures to post.. but i dont.

here is some good news though:

at the end of this year we are all guaranteed a 4 week placement (we have to interview and accept the jobs our self but we are guaranteed to get one).. some of these placements turn out to be jobs (only about 30%) and if you are willing to relocate to the toronto area the percentage is increased. well im totally willing to relocate to toronto (most people are not). im applying for my placement there and going to start the job search in toronto since im pretty sure the hamilton area has nothing and i want to live in toronto.

not so good news :

i think starbucks hates me. literally every time i go to a starbucks they are out of the pumpkin spice mix for a pumpkin spice latte.. i can't believe it! mohawk didn't have it and yesterday i went to ancaster starbucks with andrew and they told me they were out! im only willing to spend the $4.15 it costs for a tall once in a while and the more often they dont have them.. the less willing i am to even consider spending that much on a latte. they made me some tazo tea latte or something instead and it wasn't very good. 

what! I phone 5! they are on the I phone 5? i know im random but i just heard that on the news..

than labour day came and went

its labour day today! i can't believe its here already. this summer has went by way too fast. i have orientation at school tomorrow then classes start the next day. im just printing out my timetable now. i haven't gotten my books, haven't toured the campus, haven't gotten my usual back-to-school supplies. it seems unreal that its september and im back to school already in a new program at a new school. im excited cause i love school. i love the regularity and structure of having school in my life. i like readings and assignments. i like learning information that is practical for life. but at the same time im entirely nervous. new profs, new people, new school, new classes, new books, new course outlines, new program. im excited about having under 40 hours of work, more time to spend with my pup and all that stuff.  okay so thats just a little rant/update on my thoughts. 
today im going to st catharines to help my sister move into her house there. we are taking guinness and i think we are going to go to port dalhousie after. i also need to look at some tiff schedules and decide what films we want to see. id like to enjoy my day off.. maybe i'll make some cupcakes or cakepops. i got the cakepops by bakerella recipe book from michaels awhile ago but i haven't had a chance to use it yet.
