i dont want a kobo (or kindle). they dont actually smell.. but thats the problem. i like books. i like the content of books, i like the idea of books and i love the way books can captivate a reader and allow them to encompass a world or scenario that may not even exist. im sure a kobo can do all of those things too but books smell and i like the smell. whether its the smell of age, the smell of the paper or just the smell of the bookshelves they sit on, its comforting.
i understand the concept of the kobo, its convenient. it must be. its a flat board with stories within it. i mean, for travelling purposes i approve of the creation. im not saying i will never own one, but i think for now i like turning pages.
i starting thinking about this because i am finally done school and im excited for the massive pile of books i now get to read. i couldn't imagine all the books fitting into this little kobo.
i wonder if this is what people who love records said when they came out with the ipod and internet downloading?
